Class DC-8 Eros Mask Crew Oxygen System Design

Jetaire was awarded a contract by a major cargo airline to design a Flight Crew Oxygen system for their DC-8 aircraft. The system design incorporated five EROS masks. A flow and duration analysis was completed to determine the amount of Oxygen required to support crew activities at the aircraft’s service ceiling in the event of an emergency. Complete tubing, hose, wire routing, installation, testing, and maintenance documentation was developed.
