INVICTA™ for Boeing 737
FAA Airworthiness Directive 2020-18-13 mandates fuel tank flammability reduction for Boeing 737NG center wing tanks under 14 CFR 25.981. The compliance deadline is October 29, 2026. Aircraft that have not demonstrated an approved ignition mitigation means by that date are not in compliance with the directive.
Foam Based Solution for Fuel Tank Flammability Reduction
Installation in as few as 4 days with no requirement for fuel purge or ongoing maintenance
FAA, EASA, AFAC, ANAC & TCCA Aviation Fuel Tank Safety Certifications
Bring your Boeing 737 fleet into compliance with minimal downtime using INVICTA™
Continuing airworthiness managers evaluating compliance paths have two options: a nitrogen generating system, which introduces mechanical complexity, ongoing maintenance obligations, and additional airworthiness requirements of its own, or a certified foam-based solution that satisfies the directive on installation with no recurring burden. INVICTA™ is the original FAA-certified foam-based ignition mitigation means for the 737NG center wing tank.

INVICTA™ SOLUTION SUMMARY

-
Maintenance-free. INVICTA™'s reticulated polyurethane foam installs once and requires no recurring maintenance, inspection cycles, or system monitoring. There is no ongoing compliance burden tied to the solution itself.

-
Foam-based. No nitrogen, no mechanical generating system, no FQIS modification required, and no additional airworthiness directives introduced by the compliance solution.

-
FAA STC-certified. Supplemental Type Certificate ST03450NY authorizes INVICTA™ installation on Boeing 737NG aircraft. Additional national authority validations available — see certifications below.

TURNKEY DELIVERY
Jetaire Group manufactures INVICTA and delivers certified installation through STS Aviation Group. The combined model covers manufacture, logistics, and on-site installation under a single contract. Aircraft are returned to service in under one week. With the October 2026 deadline approaching, scheduling a compliance assessment now is the operationally sound path.

CERTIFICATIONS

AS9100 and ISO 9001 certified. INVICTA has been installed on aircraft in more than 50 countries. Contact us for additional national authority validations.
INVICTA™ VS. NITROGEN GENERATING SYSTEMS
Nitrogen generating systems satisfy AD 2020-18-13, but they introduce mechanical components that require ongoing maintenance, add weight, and generate their own airworthiness obligations. INVICTA satisfies the same directive on installation, with no mechanical system to maintain and no downstream compliance burden. A full technical comparison is available on the INVICTA vs. NGS page.
